Rolf, as he is better known by colleagues is an astute entrepreneur who is fiercely loyal to his “Isle of Spice”, Grenada. After graduating from the DeVry Institute of Technology in the late 80s, Rolf began flexing his entrepreneurial muscle and co-founded Career Development Services, a human-resource development & employment agency. This was followed in the 90s by his own initiative, Concepts Advertising Inc., a full-service, marketing and advertising agency.
Having grown up in a hospitality business, Rolf nurtured both his hospitality experiences alongside his marketing skillset, producing two of the Caribbean’s top tourism magazines. Subsidiaries in both the north and south Caribbean soon followed, serving some of the biggest names in the public and private sector. More recently, he has further refined his experiences in founding the uber-chic hospitality service, Paradise Defined – Concierge to the Caribbean. Throughout the years, he fought to set a premium standard for service above all else. As a result, Concepts Advertising has become a multiple award-winning agency with a wealth of professional experience in the areas of marketing, advertising, business re-development, graphic design, corporate imaging, web development and publishing.
In 2011, Rolf was recruited by European social-shopping giant Lyoness International to spearhead their expansion into the Americas. Through his intervention, Lyoness now partners with some of the largest retail names in North & South America.
An advocate for all things community-spirited, Rolf has played a strong leadership role in many non-profit organisations. His experiences in hospitalities, marketing, corporate communications, trade negotiations and community service, along with relationships developed throughout the Caribbean has made his involvement in this project unique and instrumental.
