Carl has a diverse 20-year background developing and launching business startups in U.S., Canada and Vietnam. He is an advisor to C-Level enterprise and government executives tasked with leveraging the business value of technology for growing their bottom lines. Early in his career, Cooper launched two technology startups in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam where he co-founded Communications Power & Design Pte. Ltd. in Hanoi; and lead government consulting engagements with Technology Resources Group International, a Business Process Outsourcing firm based out of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Over the years, he has specialized in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for emerging tech clients and Venture Capital, and was instrumental in preparing several startups with preparations for M&A’s. Most recent assignments include work for Cloud Launch One, GXS, and i/o Ventures. Carl is now concentrating on developing Grenada’s IT Corridor through his “StartUp-Grenada” program, which includes the development of 9 Innovation Centers; a Central business incubation hub; and the management and support of CharityMobi’s IT Healthcare program. Carl is married to a Canadian, and together they have 5 children.
